First customer delivery is planned for the end of July. - Yes, this year, who is asking? - The monster Goldmund Subwoofer, last part of the full Epilogue system uses 10 x 8" drivers, same velvet Kevlar type as in the Epilogue 2. It is available only with a built-in 300W amplifier (a Mimesis 29 channel) and an adjustable low pass crossover. 100% built in metal, 140kg (#300lbs) without packaging, the beast is mostly designed to propel the highest Home-Theater installations up to the real theater sound level in the lowest part of the bandwidth (say from below 20Hz to 35 Hz)….with 120dB sound pressure at low frequencies, but with the speed of a Mimesis / Epilogue combination. Just imagine… Neighborhood will hate it. We love it.

As fast as announced - one month between announcement and first delivery - the Mimesis 28.4 is now shipping. The big question was the sonic difference with a Mimesis 29. Result ? As expected. The fact the am is mono provides more freedom, more dynamics less noise. The fact that the circuit of the Mimesis 29 has a better circuit remains, as well as the transient stability provided by the very sophisticated Goldmund "Mechanical Grounding" construction. So ? Matter of taste guys… Pick the one you like.

We told you last month how proud we were of this baby. Obviously we were right and our first customers jumped on it as hard as we thought. We are oversold for few months ! Be patient.

The Alize module used in the SRDA will provide to the top line of our amplifiers (Mimesis 29 and Mimesis 29.4) the option to be directly fed in digital (SPDIF/ATT optical). With even shorter connections, optimized cabling the beast should be the next talk of the town. Expect first deliveries of the small back module to upgrade your existing amp by fall. The same module will be used in the future Epilogue built-in amplifiers which will provide the Speaker solution to our full computer-controlled PC-Theater systems.
