The Mimesis 22 Hardware + Software upgrade soon to be available.
Probably ready by September, the new dramatic Mimesis 22 upgrade announced in our last newsletter is progressing as expected. The prototype of the hardware modif is ready and we are working on improving the software. Be patient. The price should be announced before end of July.
Epilogue 3 ready in production…
First delivery of the first 6 units is still planned for the last week of July. One pair will go to Stereo Sound in Japan (best magazine and best distributor have the priority, the second pair will be delivered in France and the third one will stay in our Geneva Demonstration Center for the first experiments of our Mimesis 24 6 channels decoding system.
The SRDA making clones as fast as it can…
The performance of our units are not known enough by our customers and dealers.
Question for our next Quiz (and a question we asked to all of the ones we meet and never got the right answer…): Which preamplifier in our line is so good in high frequency that its phase response at 100 kHz rotates only 0.25 degree ?
We are sure everybody answered : the Mimesis 22…
Wrong, guys. The good answer is : all of them !
Including the SRP which has a phase response between 1 Hz and 100 kHz of +/-0.25 degree. Whaah !
More News of the Mimesis 24 Audio-Video controller with multichannel decoding.
The Mimesis 24 prototype is now under construction. We already tested most of its components and the results are spectacular. Built around a very powerful Pentium II PC computer designed for us by Sylans, it will include the 6 channel proprietary Goldmund decoding and the full automatic control of the big PC-Theater Goldmund system (see our Web site for Mimesis 24 advanced information).Though this newsletter has been updated to be archived in the new site, the “Web site for Mimesis 24 advanced information” has not. New Sylans Web Server on test at Goldmund
t’s so quiet here, you wouln’t believe we have 12 computers running in our office ! Anyhow, the beast is working and the transfer should be finished by the end of the month. The A.I.H.C, JOB and Sylans Sites have already been transferred and are running smoothly.
Last Quarter is the record Quarter ever achieved by our Company.
Thanks to a constant flow of production, and very stable market around the world, our company registered the best quarter ever during the April-June 1998 period.
