The Full Epilogue System is finally, after 5 years of development, installed and operational in our demonstration and test Room in Geneva. Some (VIP) customers already visited it. We will continue tuning the whole system during the coming months so our visitors get a better and better idea of the system’s potential. The experience we acquired using our reference video system is starting to build up our competence in how to setup a Hyper-Super-Crazy Home Theater system. To get some useful feedback from our experiments, you may start reading the Home Theater Rules pages of our site. They will progressively improve with the coming months of added experience.

First Customer shipment should take place around November 10th. With full remote-control, the audio circuit of a Mimesis 22 and a RS 232 computer link, the Mimesis 27 is a technology-advanced preamplifier. But it may also be one of the last products we design for Analog Audio (except for the Millenium Amplifier that everybody is waiting for, of course, and which should be THE last one). Yes, to answer a frequent question, we hope the Chiasma will have numerous descendants…For all the regular Home-Theater enthusiasts who cannot or don’t want to pay the price of a nice car to buy an Audio Multi-channel Processor, our intention is to decline the line of Goldmund Processors towards more affordable grounds. The learning, the R&D and the experimenting we will have made on the Chiasma should be sufficient to allow us to decline it quite soon. Say, before next century, probably…

First delivered with the Mimesis 27, but also immediately available with the new Mimesis 22 upgrade and also separately, the Goldmund R3 Remote-Control transmitter is a sophisticated unit 100% manufactured by Goldmund (no more those ugly Taiwan-made plastic toys) and it will be controlling a full Goldmund sytem from a single unit. By example the Mimesis 20 or XX(?), the Mimesis 22 or 27, the Mimesis 36 or 39. We will start delivering early November.

Our Website is finally coming to its last update phase as was planned initially. It will continue to evolve in the coming months but the general layout will be in place in a few days. Now that we corrected the problem of the defective covers, the SRCD is giving us a new nightmare because the waiting list is getting very, very long. Please forgive us. The positive view is that it could be another great hit. Despite the price (quite high for the SR line), the sound quality is far better than anything else around in the market. Sorry for the bad planning…
