We wish you all a very happy new year ! Be 2001 prosperous and healthy. We hope to be able to improve again serving you with better products and better service. We wish you will have better chance to test and appreciate our products. We wish they will bring you happiness and joy as they already are to more than 10000 owners around the world.
For those visiting the nest CES in Las Vegas early January, we are sorry but we will, this year again, not exhibit among the others. We will be there in a private suite for which we already sent invitation. We will as usual display our most recent products and some of the prototypes we prepared for next year. If you did not receive an invitation, let us know by e-mail and we will give you directions.

We won a “Component of the year” Award this year again
Our position in Japan is a model of what the future should be for us in each country. We are now the strongest (both in prestige and sales number) High End Manufacturer in Japan, thanks to our fantastic local distributor and partner Stellavox Japan and his fantastic team driven by Hideaki Nishikawa.
This year again, the best magazine in the world, Stereo Sound, picked a Goldmund products as one of the top products of last year : The Mimesis 21. We are extremely proud of this distinction and we will never thank again Mr Nishikawa and his team to have won us such a position in the largest market in the world. Thank you to all of you.
What is our position Vs DVD Audio and SACD
Being Swiss means you have to be neutral in any worldwide conflict.
The today’s battle between the various digital formats in Audio is becoming a real war and being Swiss, we wait…
You already heard our position facing such a conflict : we are too small to be influencing any camp and joining one would certainly be foolish for now. Let them fight…
If by any chance, any one or both are finally successful, we will certainly make equipment to compete or improve the standard.
In the meantime, developing SACD machine or DVD Audio machine, or worse a mix machine would be stupid. These standards are contradictory, if any good. For now on, a top DVD video machine or a top CD player are both superior in sonic quality.
So better wait and see… No urgency, folks.
