We received a tremendous reception for the first Chiasma demonstration and our development team is hard working to make the product appear very soon. Our factory is already equipped with a working prototype diffusing wireless music that each department want to play. The only limiting factor to the product release may be the availability of the Webpads that will be ideal to pilot the unit from anywhere in a house. Some models we tested recently are not really satisfying yet and new ones appear every month. So, be patient..

We introduced in December 2001 a new JOB4 improved circuit inside the Millennium amplifier. The JOB4 is a special version of the JOB3 made for us by the JOB development team with even tighter specifications than before. Since early 2001, when we introduced the Millennium, we used the new JOB3 circuit and progressively used part of it to improve our whole line of amplifier. On the contrary, the JOB4 has been especially made to make the Millennium untouchable in quality. Does it sound better ? Of course, and big again.

We have posted on our Ftp server the new software version for the Goldmund Millennium. This software is downloadable using the process built in the Millennium by modem connection through Internet.

The new version of the software addresses a few problems we discovered over time using the first units and does not provide really new features. However, since most of the corrections are made to provide a perfect evolution toward the future new releases we have to demand ALL users to upgrade to this new version in the coming 3 months.

We do recommend each user to be upgraded using a modem since some of the problems we found were related to the upgradability by Internet when using a LAN connection for broadband. The modem connection guarantees the good upgrade and the new version will have provision for future use of broadband connection in a safe way, or even RS232 connection through a laptop for safety.

Please do not forget to upgrade as soon as you can. We will feel safer, and you should too !
