The Full Epilogue system is today the best existing 2 channel speaker system in existence. With its extreme time accuracy, lack of coloration and natural dynamics, it is without pair.

With the Goldmund TH3 principle, allowing to use a pair of Epilogue 1 from the Full System to reproduce the center channel, the Full Epilogue also became the most sought for multi-channel speaker for rich Home-Theater enthusiasts.

However, such systems, some in very large and very dead rooms, are usually played louder than reasonable, especially in bass and sub-bass. The Epilogue 3 subwoofer, being essentially linear, proved often to be too “reasonable” for the craziest movie fans…

We have made our name in Audio for the last 25 years and since we entered the Home Theater domain in 1996 with the Epilogue Speaker, the lack of solutions of the same caliber in Video became obvious.

In the Video market dominated by large Japanese companies, more aware of mass market problems than high quality solutions, the products were poorly designed, unreliable, impossibly complicated to use and not performing to the level of the Audio top systems. Only Barco probably tried to get out from the mass, unsuccessfully for most.

But this could change. Goldmund has long studied the Video market on the technology and business points of view and recently shown in private some future possible products designs. If you read regularly our Home Theater Rules pages in the Goldmund Web site, you may have seen it coming.

The Eidos 38D showed immediately that Goldmund was able to reach the same absolute reference level in Video than in Audio and the first users still do not believe their eyes… Be prepared, guys. Next steps could be even more dramatic…

The recent JOB4 circuit introduced inside the Goldmund Millennium mono amplifier could have soon a very, very small brother.

Our laboratory is experimenting the use of the same circuit in a new JOB amp costing 100 times less !

This amp may not be on the market before year end but the principle is already quite remarkable. No company to our knowledge ever reached that spectacular scalabilty of a single circuit technology. Being able to use the same identical circuit into components costing from 1 to 100 is a technological breakthrough showing the today’s supremacy of the Goldmund power amp technology.

Proprietary design, special components of extreme sonic quality (resistors and capacitors), special active device selection and manual production with special soldering techniques, and extremely tight tolerance circuitboard design with a control of tracks shape in the picofarad domain are the essential advantages that the new JOB4 achieved at the end of a research program of 20 years in analogue amplification design.

When you know that the circuit schematics is already more than 24 years old and that it took us all that time to master it, you may understand that it is not a small thing and why no other company could probably afford it.

Now, if you are using a non-Goldmund amp and wonder why we literally invaded the market recently, do not hesitate to jump in the bandwagon.

Since 2000, we were trying to find a proper piece of land in Geneva to build our own building, and each year made us more uncomfortable in our current location due to the growth of our company. We finally found a good location recently and the construction is already in design phase with a goal to start before end of this year.

Here you may see the first project drawing, but we will provide you the details during the project concept advance.

It doesn’t look quite impressive so far, but it is the first step of our comeback on the US territory.

This building, located in Woddland Hills CA, will be the location of the new team of Goldmund USA.
