GOLDMUND - Swiss Made High-End Audio Equipment

The new Goldmund Remote transmitter was expected for long, especially by users of the Mimesis 20M and 22M who were embarrassed by the low power, short battery life and bulkiness of the first model delivered with their unit.

The new Remote will be delivered standard with the new Mimesis 22M and 20M produced in October and will soon also replace the older remote with other models.

It is beautifully machined out of an aluminum bloc, finished with the satin metal finish of the top Goldmund unit and engraved especially model by model. Using 2 emitting IR Leds encased in a cone shaped diffraction metal housing, the new Remote is not only more powerful but also much more comfortable to use. It is powered by 2 smallest 1.5V standard batteries with a consumption so low that the batteries should last for a year minimum in a normal use

We now have a fourth type of foot for the Logos : the new Logofoot.

This new foot is usable with both the Logos and the Logos Mini, passive or active versions. In addition, it may be used with the Logos placed vertically or horizontally. In the horizontal position, a Logos may be used for playing both rear channels in a Home Theater minimum setup a formula very appreciated with a simple plasma display.

For the last 2 years our demonstration house in Los Angeles is in construction, in order to receive and demonstrate our new Home Networking products. With the progressive availability of the first products like the Chiasma 1, Chiasma 2 or even the Chiasma 3 (see the prototype pictures below) a few initial room configuration have already been assembled and used for pre-demos of functionality.

A Chiasma 1 distributing wirelessly music in 4 other rooms is now part of the house standard demo.

During the last few weeks experiments of the Goldmund Wireless Video transmission have started in an experimental form.

In the house family room, an early prototype of the Chiasma 3 is used simultaneously as a receiver for the wireless music server diffusion and as a terminal for the Goldmund Wireless Home Networking control network providing all the functionality of an AMX or Crestron system without any additional component (or wire).
