The new Goldmund Eidos 18D
The new Goldmund Eidos 18D will be the most expected Goldmund DVD machine at the coming CES show. Using the same output circuit as the 38D, with its unique progressive quality and Digital DVI Video output, the Eidos 18D will be our Hi End middle line DVD, with an aesthetics adapted to the Mimesis 27, 28, and 21. In addition to all the standard features, it will have the RS 232 control, and will read the DVD audio and SACD, with 6 analogue outputs. It will also be a DVD and CD player with built-in up to 192k D/A circuits.
Come to Las Vegas if you want to see the first prototype.
The new Goldmund Digin Mono and Digin Stereo
To allow the use with the new Mimesis 24 of any kind of amplifier (Goldmund or not), which cannot be assembled with the Digin 29 (Mimesis 29 and 29.4), you may use our new Digin Mono (single channel) or Digin Stereo (two channels).
Independent Alize 4 D/A converters, they may receive an SPDIF signal and convert it to the analogue format needed by standard amps.
We remind you that all outputs of the new Mimesis 24 are digital, so you may need this small accessory badly. The sound quality will be the top since we use all the refinements of the new Alize 4 inside (see our last newsletter for more details).

Our CES reception suite is moving to the Bellagio
Dealers who want to meet us during the CES were used to look for us at the Treasure Island Hotel. With the creation of our US subsidiary Goldmund USA and the rapid growth of our US market, we decided this year to improve our setup to a higher standard and we rented one of the luxury penthouse available at the best Las Vegas Hotel, the Bellagio.
We will also have more Goldmund people present at the show and bring you more new products than ever before.

Goldmund increases its display in China
During the last show in Guangzhu, Goldmund showed for the first time its full line of products and especially its speakers line. With listening by invitation only, the Chinese audiophiles may now access the top Goldmund quality in larger number. With their exceptional interest in Audio, and well known taste for extreme equipment, our Chinese friends should become one of the fastest developing market for Goldmund in the coming years.
