The new Goldmund Eidos 18D
The new Goldmund Eidos 18D was presented during the last Goldmund CES participation in Las Vegas. We finally have its availability set for late March 2003. But with the kind of success we had with it at the show, you better hurry to order yours if you want to have it fast. There is already a long waiting list.
The Chiasma already on waiting list
With our demo at the last CES, it was clear That the Chiasma was ready, at least for Audio Wireless storage and distribution. The presentation of our first receiver units the Chiasma 10 and Chiasma 11 offered solutions that could be installed immediately. And for the most ambitious, the recent private demo of Video distribution in Digital by Goldmund proved that the Chiasma needed no change to allow the Video part to be operative.
The news is that, by early April, we will deliver the first 20 sets of Chiasma 1, Library software and Chiasma 10 receivers to the first field test installers. But we expect from them most practical software issues rather than any hardware change. Which makes the Chiasma 1 immediately available. And of course, everybody wants it… Thank you for your patience.

Our largest CES reception suite ever, in the Bellagio
We never had such a beautiful environment to present our new products during the CES in Las Vegas. The Suite we were this year was especially well set up by the team of Goldmund USA and allowed us to properly represent what Goldmund has become during recent years. You see above the display we had for the 2 channel section with a pair of Millennium amps and the new Eidos 18, as well as the complete 5.1 Goldmund mini system, using active Logos and Mini Logos speakers, and a Plasma screen driven in Digital Video by a Eidos 38D with a Goldmund DVI long cable.
A third section of our display was dedicated to Home Networking with 2 rooms communicating in wireless to distribute Audio.
Dealers who visited our beautiful display at the Bellagio were also asked to guess how many new products Goldmund planned to introduce in 2003. None found the real answer which was 26. All agreed they did not expect us to be so ambitious and successful.
Biggest screen in town for the Los Angeles Demonstration Center
The main Home Theater of our Goldmund House in Los Angeles is setting up these days. Opposite to most of the Home Theater gurus taste in the US, we picked a very large screen for this room. Look how tiny the full Epilogue looks ! And imagine the picture !
