The new Eidos 720 Goldmund projector is available
The Goldmund Eidos 720 projector is finally ready for shipment.
Based on the now ubiquitous HD2+ chip from Texas Instruments, the Eidos 720 is a single DSP projector delivering sharp pictures with extremely refined color management thanks to its unique 8-segment color wheel. A complete set of inputs combination provides convenient connectivity with the accent put on the DVI quality. Composite, S-Video, Component Video (3xRCA), RGB (5xBNC) and VGA are added for convenience and multiple-source configurations.
In addition to the usual quality of this type of engine, the Eidos 720 adds extra-quality to the image thanks to its Goldmund “Mechanical Grounding” construction and the use of an original power supply based on the AC-Curator Goldmund technology.
Now permanently displayed in the Goldmund House in Los Angeles, the Eidos 720 starts shipping in March from the Goldmund network dealers and distributors.
New Eidos 36 Ultimate Universal Player
Replacing the Eidos 38D transport, the new Eidos 36 brings a lot of innovative features and is now a complete Universal player, with SACD and DVD-Audio playback capability in addition to the DVD and CD playback. Like the Eidos 38 it brings the ultimate quality to CD playback with its full Goldmund “Mechanical Grounding” construction, its unique Goldmund “Magnetic Damper”, and a brand new set of D/A circuits based on Alize 5 circuits providing multi-channel CD, DVD and SACD decoding. The new output circuit is directly derived from the Eidos Reference development with a sound quality never achieved before in a player compatible with all these supports.
With a very complete set of outputs, it is equipped with the famous Goldmund progressive Video output circuit which delivers DVI, RGB and Component Video signals of unique quality.
It will be available in April through our network of dealers and Goldmund Exclusive Distributors worldwide.
