The Telos 1000 NextGen is a unique universal mono amplifier of extreme power and linearity. Its design includes the latest amplification board recently developed for the best and most powerful amplifier on the market today: the new Telos 5500 NextGen.

It is powerful enough to drive any speaker, whatever its impedance, providing the strongest energy level as well as a truly spatial, clear and detailed sound image. Its ultra wide frequency bandwidth of approximately 3 MHz is roughly 100 times that of a typical amplifier. In addition, the multiple transformers used in its power supply allow it to deliver its full output potential within a mere 400 ns. The Telos 1000 Next Gen is an incredible enginering exercise and also benefits from the Goldmund Acoustical Grounding giving him a tight control on all the drivers’ moves. Its improved Thermal Grounding has two obvious significant effects on the sound: better dynamic and lower coloration. This result is even improved by the Mechanical Grounding technology used in the unit’s design to suppress spurious vibrations.

A truly universal amplifier, the Telos 1000 NextGen offers many different connection possibilities (balanced and unbalanced) that make it ideal for any system configuration. It also comes with very convenient features such as: - An RS232 port that allows the connection with a Crestron or other home automation control systems, including the ultra simple Goldmund ipad/iphone Remote Control - The adjustment of power functions (On-Off-Standby) that can be controlled remotely - A gain adjustment that can be added for complex configurations. - A new front control panel with more technical capabilities in measuring the amplifier - Improved safety circuits that activate the protection mode for the amplifier and associated speakers in nanoseconds.
