Company Information

A Message from Michel Reverchon, Chairman.

For more almost forty years, Goldmund has developed audio and video equipment at the highest level. In this continuous search for the accurate reproduction of sound and image, Goldmund has established an outstandingly powerful reputation with mythical products such as the Reference turntable, the Apologue wireless speakers or the Telos power amplifiers to name a few.

Today, we are gathering the fruits of our patient and meticulous work as Goldmund is the only company worldwide able to demonstrate what a speaker may become when it is perfectly aligned in Frequency response, in Phase response and in Time response. More simply put for readers who do not have a technical knowledge in audio products: the sound produced by our systems is now the most accurate and lifelike one that has ever been produced by any audio manufacturer worldwide.

How Goldmund has been able to maintain its supremacy over the extreme High End market and penetrate the luxury home theater market is no secret. It lies in our history and in our difference. First of all, the “Swiss Made” Label and the highest quality of the Swiss craftsmanship were decisive in the creation of our brand and have remained so throughout the company history, leading us to set the standard for luxury audio & video systems worldwide.

Secondly, Goldmund products are developed with the most advanced technologies. Our company is strong of numerous years of fundamental research by audio and acoustic engineers who often had to create new technologies from scratch to achieve their goals of quality.

We never followed existing trends and refused to use technologies that we felt had not proved their superiority, preferring to develop our own. We never allow quality compromise and make a point to providing impeccable service to our most demanding customer.

To insure this quality of service, the Goldmund Foundation has created a training curriculum that each Goldmund distributor must follow to obtain the official authorization to sell our products. By successfully completing each stage of the curriculum, our distributors and dealers access a new competence to sell different lines of products and receive a certification that clearly indicates what service they are authorized to provide to our customers. Each type of certification is detailed as follows:

Category A: Audiophile specialist dealer/distributor Have successfully completed the certification exams to sell, install and service audiophile products. These include amplifiers and analog preamplifiers, 2 Channel digital processors, converters, passive speakers, and players in stereo systems.

Category B: Bespoke Lifestyle products dealer/distributor Have successfully completed the certification exams to sell, install and service all products included in the category A but also standalone active speakers, multichannel processors in 2 or 4-channel systems.

Category C: Certified home cinema dealer/distributor Have successfully completed the certification exams to sell, install and service all Goldmund products, including home cinemas. Certified Goldmund home cinema dealers have also acquired the competence to collaborate with architects and interior designers to make sure that the construction and the acoustics of the home cinema rooms allow our systems to deliver the optimal performance they have been created for. They collaborate closely with the Goldmund acoustic laboratory in Geneva for the technical design of each room their customers wish to purchase.

“Ostinato rigore” used to be Leonardo da Vinci’s motto. It is also ours and means “constant rigor”. It is thus with unrivaled rigor, expertise and commitment that we will continue dedicating ourselves to the art of producing the greatest audio and video experience the most demanding customers can ever dream of. We thank them for their high expectations that have motivated us to reach for the top and look forward to sharing our passion with them.
