The new Goldmund D/A modules, evolution and revolution
Goldmund introduces the new DA2B and DA1C “High Speed” 24bits compatible converter modules. Based on research made for the Mimesis 20, these new modules provide an improved time coherency with tighter bass and higher tonal accuracy. The modules will be availble in the Mimesis 10++, the Mimesis 12++, the new Mimesis 39DA++ as well as in a separate upgrade program for the owners of previous versions. Built for 24 bit accuracy and providing a better time alignment these modules are a tremendous improvement over the previous generation. Availability is immediate.
The new Goldmund D/A Upgrade Program
For the Mimesis 12 and 12+ and the Mimesis 10+ (a long awaited upgrade for the Mimesis 10+ owners), these upgrades provide the new D/A (and new DSP for the Mimesis 10+) modules to existing units with all the sonic benefits described above. The Mimesis 12++ module upgrade is also applicable to the existing Mimesis 39DA which so benefits of the same improvements at even a higher degree thanks to its unique construction.

The new DA2B module is now included in the latest version of the 39DA. Thanks to the direct connection of the D/A converter module to the machine clock, the improvement brought by the new D/A module is even more spectacular on the 39DA.
The new Goldmund Mimesis 12++ D/A Converter
In addition to the existing Mimesis 12+, the new Mimesis 12++ provides all the new DA2B module improvements (see above) to this already very successful 3 inputs converter.
The new Goldmund Mimesis 10++ D/A Converter
The new Mimesis 10++ includes the new DSP and D/A modules to the existing Mimesis 10+ model. All the sonic benefits of the new technology are so becoming now available on all the Goldmund units, even the oldest ones.
