The new Goldmund SRTT CD Turntable
We announced it long ago. Developed under the code name of Mimesis 38, the SR line CD transport, finally called the SRTT,Ê will be presented first in Vegas and should become widely available by the end of the first 1998 quarter.
The SRTT is a reduction of the Mimesis 39 concept, using the same beautiful Philips CDM9Pro CD transport, the same clamp and the same electronics. No surprise, the sound quality is very close.
Size and finish match the other components of the SR line.
As for the Mimesis 39, a CD player on the same basis is planned to be introduced later.
The new Goldmund SRDA D/A Converter
In a box the size of an SRA or SRP, the new SRDA uses the technology developed for the new DA2B module and from the Mimesis 20, grouped inside a new single plug-in module. It offers a low-cost 24 bits D/A conversion and an ultra-linear analogue filter. 3 inputs, each with XLR and coaxial connectors can be switched from the front panel. Sound performance is said to be extraordinary for the relatively affordable cost of the new unit.
The new Goldmund Epilogue 2 bass speaker joins the Epilogue 1.
Already presented in these pages, the Epilogue 2 bass unit will become available in January 1998. It is the perfect match for the Epilogue 1 satellite speaker, building a high power, wide bandwidth full range speaker system among the absolute top models worldwide available.
With its low frequency cutoff of 26Hz and a very high-dynamics set of 4 x 8” drivers mounted in double push-pull, the Epilogue 2 can deliver very high levels of fast, clean, undistorted bass extension to the Epilogue 1. First application in high-end Audio systems as well as high-dynamics Home-Theater installations has proved that the relatively small speaker system made of a pair of Epilogue 2 + Epilogue 1 can be far more dynamic and sweeter than other high power full range systems we have been able to compare.
For those waiting for the full Epilogue system, Goldmund has announced availability of the Epilogue 3 sub-bass unit to start in the 1998 second quarter.

Reference Anniversary still not attributed
One more of these fabulous turntables and tonearm is now becoming available. Since we announced it, we received several inquiries but nothing definitive, so it is still available. Write us if you are interested.
To answer a frequent question, yes, this turntable may very well be the last one…
Our presence in Vegas
As usual, we will not exhibit in Vegas but we will be present in a private hospitality room at the Treasure Island. Let us know if you want to visit us because we will have to give you directions.
