We announced it for the first 1998 quarter, and there it is. We are starting to ship soon the first field test samples of the SRDA and the SRTT should follow. By the end of March we expect to have already satisfied the first customers. First listening test have attracted a lot of attention to these new small units who deny their price range by the sound quality they bring. Happy listening !

This available Reference Anniversary turntable bears number 09, is a totally cosmetically refurbished unit which looks as new (all painted parts have been re-painted, all gold parts re-golded) with brand new mechanics (that’s what counts for sound and longevity), and revised packaging. The electronics has received the Anniversary version upgrade to provide the smoother and better motor control developed last year.

We do not have a T3F tonearm for this turntable, which allows us to announce it at the most attractive price for an Anniversary version.

After few unsatisfactory tries, we have reached a very wide agreement among our customers with the latest, more luxurious version of the Epilogue 1 foot, still called the Epi-foot. Now matching the Epilogue 1 silver metal finish, with adjustable gold-plated feet, and a hard rubber isolation platform receiving the Epilogue 1 without scratching it, the Epilogue1 + Epi-foot latest assembly looks very very good, especially for the price which has been only slightly increased. We hope this will satisfy everybody, finally.

Some small price readjustments touching only the Epilogue speakers, due to recent improvements (and huge cost increase) in the metal finish technology, will be announced soon for application to any new order received after end of February.

The first Sylans developed products should become available soon. The Master Sylans Computer and the first software piece are already on test. Installed soon in the Goldmund demonstration room in Geneva, it will serve us to experiment these new technologies before putting them on the market. The first software application on test is a sophisticated parametric equalizer that can correct digitally any room. It provides several bands of adjustment each individually adjustable in level, frequency and Q for each channel. Sophisticated dithering new technologies, working on a 24 bits range should provide a sound quality far better than in any other existing digital equalizer… without any new hardware.
