New Products - Product Improvements

The Mimesis 22 and Mimesis 20 considerable Software improvement now available for free.

We announced a definitive improvement in our Mimesis 22 software. It is now available form our website Ftp as the software version 1.25. It includes improvment in the remote control action and correction of several small glitches we had on the unit, which is now trouble free.

In addition, we now offer the release 1.25 of the Mimesis 20 software too. With much improved locking on imprecise frequency signals, the sonic quality of signals comingfrom machines like bad CD players or LD players will be enhanced. More, and this is the most important part of that software release, the Mimesis 20 will now have a real volume control, allowing it to be used as the controller of a digital-only audio system.

The Goldmund Chiasma is pre-announced

Initially called Mimesis 24, the first Goldmund Home Theater processor will finally come to the market in early 1999 under the new family name of Chiasma. Just because it is a really new product type, first of a long family of Home-Theater products, we called it “Chiasma” which in ancient Greek means crossing, bifurcation, choice of roads.
