More news for the Mimesis 22 buyers.
The recent article published in this newsletter about the Mimesis 22 production changes may have been misinterpreted by our faithful customers, Let us be more precise. What Goldmund is currently changing in the Mimesis 22 is not the product itself but the way it is manufactured. Our difficulties were not in the way the product was functioning but the way it was built by our subcontractors. Too many parts made by too many different suppliers gave our team a nightmare for assembling the final units. We simply decided to take back in-house most of the parts assemblies, leaving us more control on the whole production process. The result will not be visible or audible for the final owner, since the product will not been changed at all. The change will be for us. But it is quite a long and costly change which explains the long delay we are experiencing right now. Thank you for your patience. And be reinsured, the Mimesis 22 is a fabulously successful preamplifier and will remain so. Within 2 months we should be able to produce them faster and serve the high demand better.
Mimesis 27+ and Mimesis 27 upgrade available soon.
The Mimesis 27+ and the corresponding upgrade should be available by mid-July. Price and ordering are already available from our distribution network. The Mimesis 28+ and its upgrade will be announced later.

New Goldmund Building first drawing.
The process may take a year to be completed, and the actual vision we have on our future Goldmund building in Geneva my not survive the current architect successive designs approach, but we could not resist the pleasure to show you the first drawing we had of it from our appointed architects. We will, of course, continue to let you know how this baby is coming as soon as we have more precise data.
Hivi article had considerable importance.
The recently published test of the Trilogue in HiVi Magazine has more signification than any other usual product reviews may have had for us. In addition to be a glorious test of the Goldmund Trilogue, it shows a definitive choice made by Goldmund for the future Home-Theater configurations that did not even explained fully yet. Based on our lack of comfort with the traditional approach, the Goldmund “Shadow Center Speaker” and “Theater3” concepts are only the beginning of a series of innovations that should bring to the markets systems where sound space recreation is much more natural than the usual front-to-back accessible today. With new speaker concepts like the Trilogue and the coming Goldmund Monologue, and new software available in the Goldmund Home-Theater processors you will see coming soon, the sound immersion will be immensely more natural and more acceptable. The perception of this change by the HiVi reviewers has astonished us and we are strongly supporting any reviewer team that would like to do the experience again. More, we are starting to install in few locations around the world where the systems should come to demonstration soon.
