First sonic (high) quality reports on the Goldmund A20 Module
We delivered the first units inside the Mimesis 27+ manufactured in April but the reaction has been immediate and much stronger than we expected. The change from the A2 to the A20 is considered, by the first who got the chance to listen to a comparison, as absolutely spectacular. We remind you that the A20 is the Millennium evolution of the A2, with few small improvements based on the research made for the Millennium Amplifier. Small schematics improvements, especially improving the power supply noise rejection, but more important even, the choice of the same components as in the Millennium amplifier have improved clarity and definition to a new standard.
After the new Mimesis 29M and 29.4M Millennium Edition, now the Mimesis 28M and 28.4M.
We announced the Mimesis 29 and Mimesis 29.4 Millennium Edition last month and some are already released. Joining the family, we now can tell you that all the Mimesis 28 and 28.4 we will now produce will receive the same circuit improvements, with the same dramatic sound quality. However, for obvious cost reasons, the upgrade will not be possible for the Mimesis 28 and 28.4 of past production. Only the newly manufactured units will receive both the JOB3 circuitry and the new front panel circuit with the auto-start and sequencer.

The Eidos 38 First Inside Picture !
We show you this because it is a good illustration of the very special mechanical construction we made for our new DVD player. Very different from the usual plastic parts found on most (even expensive) DVD machines, you may notice the strong mechanical construction, brass bottom, ultra-precise clamp, aluminum-machined drawer and the top opening for the much-awaited patent-pending Goldmund Magnetic Damper, which by itself is quite a revolution.

We stopped the Mimesis 20 production some time ago. With the fabulous reception we are getting on the Alize 3 we have decided to immediately adapt it to the Mimesis 20M Millennium Edition much awaited version. It is done, and the Mimesis 20M should be available in September, together with the Mimesis 22M.

We stopped production last March, quite a short time ago. But the reputation of this machine is considerable (it was probably the best sounding CD transport ever made) and the Goldmund fanatics who did not own one already are trying to get one, literally at any price. On the second hand market, we already noticed offers above the latest retail ! So, if you are a collector and own one, keep it. It could become quite a valuable item…
