We are hard working on finishing the design the new Mimesis 22M Millennium Edition of this already famous Goldmund preamplifier. We already found the new model so exiting and so unique that we decided to make it a limited series of 100 pieces, available only by subscription. The new design is based on the original mechanics of the Mimesis 22, but is using revolutionary innovations like the potentiometer optical positioning circuitry that provides an incredibly precise potentiometer adjustment between the two channels, with tracks matching up to 0.2dB, and a much faster positioning. Its Audio circuit and power supply, also based on the Millennium design will have no equivalent in the world in definition, subtle micro-dynamics reproduction and softness. There is no doubt this will be a winner.

We announced the Mimesis 29 and Mimesis 29.4 Millennium Edition last month and some have already been received and tested by their first users. The response is quite enthusiastic, to say the least. With the JOB3 circuit, the Mimesis 29M and 29.4M reach a sound quality which is several steps above what the original was.

Now it is time for upgrading the original 29 and 29.4 that you may own. We may apply the upgrade to both the Mimesis 29 and the 29.4 for customers who want to have all these new qualities built-in it in their own babies. Judging from the amps success, this may become a quite long backorder line. So be patient, everybody will have it, but our production line are saturated by the current demand and we are afraid will remain so for some time.

In the same time, Alize 3 has also reached the field and an as enthusiastic response is received from every part of the world. Here again, with some even longer parts delay, we will be overwhelmed by demand. Do not hurry. We will make all those hundreds of Alize 3 modules you want, but the pace will be slow and we have already spread orders up to next November…

The fact is, with all the Mimesis 29 and 29.4 we have sold, and all the Mimesis 21, SDRA2, Job DA and Stellavox ST2 existing in the field, the year 2001 will be our biggest upgrade year ever. And now with the new Mimesis 22M and Mimesis 20M, we may expect the year 2002 to be even more so.
