In these times of fast evolution of the Audio and Video market, most of our competitors seem to have difficulties to cope with the rapid technological changes and their consequence in product development.
We don’t because we are part of the change.

Those, you will have to trash the next time (it may be tomorrow) some Audio company (it may be LucasFilm, it may be Fraunhofer, it may be Dolby, it may be DTS, it may even be Goldmund) introduces a new 11.1 or 19.2 multi-channel format. You will have to compare it with all these touchscreen companies solutions, offering you the full house control with proprietary equipment and software, and so inducing extreme cost of installation and maintenance. The 3 big Goldmund events of 2002
The first definitive product introduced this year which is definitely 2 steps ahead is the Eidos 38D. You know already it is providing the first and only today’s solution for Digital Video Output.And this is a step ahead for sure in the right direction. We are used since 1984 to have digital Audio and nobody gets anymore worried about it. So why not Video ? Especially since the DVD picture information is digital and that most of the best Plasma and projectors are also digital. Pixel to Pixel or what we call “Digital Direct” is the only decent logical path.
The second step ahead of the Eidos 38D is its breathtaking progressive output. If you are still using a CRT top projector (still the best picture anyhow until we introduce our own digital projector and plasma screens), you are in the analogue domain. And we have made the absolutely top notch circuit for de-interlacing and decoding the DVD Video signal into RGB. By far the best of the world right now. So you have the best image ever displayed.
The Eidos 38D is already available.
The second definitive product introduced this year and which is an absolutely world premiere is the Chiasma and its Music Server Software (we call it the “Goldmund Library” Software). The totally innovative part is the wireless music distribution it provides to other rooms, making the installer work the easiest in the world. No wires to pull. And the sound quality is exceptional too, thanks to the AudioNetworks Kairos compression used inside. A second 2002 milestone for Goldmund.
The third product is the Mimesis 24 and its unbelievable 32 output channels, with total freedom in formatting the system for various speaker configuration, even your own, or ours. Obsolescence-free and unique in its performance with ultrahigh quality A/D circuit inside, the Mimesis 24 will be set as a reference for any home-theater system. Coupled with our coming digital Video Processor, it will be the controller for the highest level of Home-Theater built with a set of full Epilogues and one of our coming Video projectors or plasma screens.
