GOLDMUND - Swiss Made High-End Audio Equipment

After its first introduction, Goldmund is now using the Logos wireless in its Chiasma demonstration in Geneva. It will then be installed in the Goldmund House in Los Angeles by November and will be presented at the CES in Las Vegas in January. It should come in production by early next year.

The Logos Wireless speaker is a full-metal “Mechanical Grounding” two channel Logos active speaker assembled with a Chiasma receiver on its back panel, feeding directly in digital the built-in D/A Alize4 circuits. With the exceptional dynamics achieved by the Logos Active (and Logos Mini active) and the 2x200W JOB4 built-in, results are extremely impressive in quality and in playable level. It will be the ideal speaker for an office, kitchen or bedroom where it may stand everywhere and produce a very natural stereo image in the room without needing a critical placement.

Goldmund is currently developing the Eidos Reference Multi-format machine. This incredible player assembled on its own table support (as was the Goldmund Reference record turntable), will provide an exceptional playing quality for CDs, DVDs of all kind and SACD. It internal mechanism is now fully designed and a prototype is testing. The outside chassis (30kg !) will be suspended by 4 pods on the table with extreme decoupling and suspension damping of a new kind.

We expect to have a working prototype for the CES in Las Vegas in January but the design work is enormous and we ask everybody to be patient. We should be able to announce the subscription in November. Based on a serial of only 50 machines, we will require a substantial down-payment for securing your reservations. Production will be 1st quarter 2004.

Goldmund is experiencing a growth of the international demand as never in its history. With a growth of deliveries 40% over last year, our factory is overloaded and still cannot match the demand. Some products are suffering increasing delays and we have to postpone introduction of new models.

Especially suffering is the new SR series which got an extremely positive reception and which we are selling in quantities far above our most optimistic forecasts.

Current weakness of our direct competition, booming new markets especially in far-east and unexpected fast growth of our new distributor in the USA have produced this situation. Please forgive us for the bad effect it has on your deliveries. And thank you for strongest than ever support.
