Eidos 20CD - Player

The Eidos 20CD is a member of a new family of players especially improved for a low rotational speed of CD. What qualifies this latest evolution is an outstanding reading precision that only Goldmund players can offer (see also the Eidos 20DVD Player and the Eidos 20BD Universal player).

This precision has been achieved thanks to different technologies developed by Goldmund over the years:

• Mechanical grounding: its newly designed chassis is reinforced and includes a metal tray machined from an aluminum bloc.

• Magnetic Damping: this technology has been borrowed from the Goldmund Ultimate line players. It utilizes a very strong Magnetic field to damp the overshoot of the lens assembly, the most typical source of reading errors.

• AC Curator: its power supply filters high and low frequencies to cancel spurious noise generated through the AC power line by other equipment or nearby machinery.
