The Mimesis 27.5 replaced the Mimesis 27.3. Its improvement over the previous version comes from the new metal construction technique that been developed by the Goldmund R&D mechanical team in 2008 and 2009. It has been designed with a full-aluminum chassis like the one used in our Ultimate line. The Swiss precision of its construction and the quality of the materials used by our team reinforce the solid and refined look that has characterizes our products since the creation of the company.
With this much more precise assembly and rigid mechanics (which improves its mechanical grounding), the Mimesis 27.5 is significantly more accurate in its timbers, especially with signals at high level. As it is traditionally the case with Goldmund preamplifiers, the Mimesis 27.5 is fully transparent and produces a sound of an incredible dimension.
The Mimesis 27.5 comes with 5 analog inputs but can also be delivered with 3 digital inputs with an optional Alize 4 module.
