Goldmund announces its participation to the Digital Fashion Week in Singapore as official sound sponsor. The event will take place from October 31st to November 3rd, 2014.
The Digital Fashion Week is Asia’s highest profile designer showcase. It takes place once a year in Singapore and Bangkok in October/November, and is the only fashion event that promotes the best young fashion designers through events and digital platforms in Asia. It is the world's first shoppable live streaming fashion week, collaborating with key partners YouTube, Google+ and Twitter to bring the latest fashion to consumers in real-time.
Online viewers worldwide are able to watch live full fashion week action and gain front row access to the world of fashion. Viewers can also interact instantly with DFW via all major social networking platforms.
Since 2012, Digital Fashion Week has supported more than 50 local fashion designers and has welcomed notable names in the global fashion industry including Naomi Campbell, Patricia Field, Guo Pei, Andrej Pejic, Holly Fulton, Jaime Perlman (British Vogue) and more. For the 2014 edition, international guest designers Cristiano Burani and Fyodor Golan will be showcasing their latest collections, hot off the runways of the Milan and London Fashion Weeks.
Goldmund was approached by DFW for the sponsorship of the event which theme this year is “European Exchange”.
Being part of an event that fully embraces digital technologies suits Goldmund’s vision of innovation that materialized in the history of the company by the development of digital technologies applied to sound reproduction as early as the 90’s. Today, our technological advance allows us to focus more on pure design and our company is involved into Young Designers’ Contests to create innovative and original speakers that would diversify the look of our products and offer more choice to all our customers.
The Singapore Fashion week is also an opportunity to underline a recent phenomenon for our company. 75% of our production is sold in Asia and a few years ago, our clientele on this continent almost uniquely comprised men, which has been the case for most companies in the audio industry for years. Today, more and more women are turning to Goldmund for their audio systems as the high-end industry currently ignores them as potential customers. Their available choice in terms of audio today is split between gadgets with a terrible sound and the hassle of an audiophile system that crowds their living space with amplifiers and ugly cables. Why should they have to choose between convenience and quality? Well, at Goldmund, we think that they shouldn’t and we will be presenting several wireless systems at the Digital Fashion week that prove just this.
Goldmund’s audio systems will be available in the VIP lounge of the Digital Fashion week from October 31st to November 3rd at the Singapore National Design Center.
For the first time ever, Goldmund will be exhibiting at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest in Denver. The system presented will include the Prologos Wireless, the Mimesis 11 Hub and the new Eidos 17. You can visit us room 541, on the 5th floor of the Marriott Tower.
We are proud to announce that the Telos Headphone Amplifier received the Blue Moon Award for Truly Superlative Performance. The award was attributed after a review of the amplifier by Mr. Srajan Ebaen, Pubisher at 6moons.com.
Congratulations to the Goldmund Research & Development team that created this product and to the production team in charge of its manufacture.
